Finding gold

My office is moving in 10 days so yesterday I desperately needed to clean out my desk drawer after 25 years. Among the treasures I found was this business card from my old Philadelphia law firm, fondly known (to me, at least) as AP&B, that I and 2 law school classmates had founded in 1973 with a total investment of $7500. The business card is a relic of a trip I took in 1992 or thereabouts to Hong Kong, Tokyo and Seoul with a group of franchise lawyers from all over the globe. Of course, I needed, or so I thought, a business card in Chinese and English. On the trip I met Andrew Loewinger, then toiling away at the Brownstein Zeidman firm, who went on to be my law partner and friend to this day. Ultimately, all good (or complicated) things come to an end, and for all practical purposes, AP&B came to an end in 1997 when several of us decamped for what turned out to be a 5 year lay-over at Buchanan Ingersoll PC on the way to Nixon Peabody LLP where Andrew and I have been ever since 2003. My new office, and NP's new Boston office, as of MLK day will be at 53 State Street, Boston, MA 02119. Connect with me there for franchise dispute and other commercial mediations, arbitrations and expert witness matters. Also see me at www.arthurlpressman.com. Best wishes for a healthy and personally meaningful 2019. ALP
